About the Journal

Focus and scope

 

AHS seeks to federate international and interdisciplinary aviation historical research in the humanities and social sciences. More particularly, it aims to:

Provide a dedicated forum for the dissemination of scholarly research relating to the history of aeronautics; and

Foster a broader interest and understanding of aviation’s economic, cultural, technological, political and social impacts, development, and interdependencies.

 

Peer review statement

 

All research articles in this journal undergo a double blind review process, based on initial editor screening. The editors review editorials, book and exhibition reviews before publication.

 

Affiliations and sponsorship

 

AHS has no formal institutional or organizational affiliations, and receives no in-kind or financial sponsorship.
